About Meintjieskop Guesthouse

Meintjieskop Guesthouse opened in 1992, when there were only 3 rooms available at the guesthouse. Through the years, Meintjieskop Guesthouse became familiar and more popular amongst guests that visited Pretoria. Rooms 1 - 5 were added and now Meintjieskop has 8 rooms and can accommodate 18 people (2 of the rooms can accommodate 3 people)

Situated against the south-eastern slope of the historic Meintjieskop, the Guest House rubs shoulders with the Presidency as well as DIRCO (Department of International Relations and Co-operation) and is a mere 600m from the Union Buildings overlooking Pretoria.

There are many historical architechtural buildings on the university grounds like the Arts Building and Merensky Library building.

Union Buildings in Pretoria
